Woodlark Rising Records

Music to make your spirit soar

Woodlark Rising Records is dedicated to the proposition that music changes molecules. The intentional use of sound is one of the most powerful tools we have for shifting our own energies, and those around us, to a more conscious, loving state of being.

Over the coming months and years, Woodlark Rising Records will release a number of recordings to uplift and enlighten--from new songs dedicated to peace, to tools for meditation and methods for learning to sing more harmoniously. Its parent organization is Woodlark Arts, Inc. Noted singer, teacher and administrator Danielle Woerner, who has executive-produced commercially-released recordings for the Albany and Parnassus record labels, is WRR's Executive Producer.

Upcoming WRR Projects

  • A CD of Danielle Woerner's original songs.

  • A recording of new songs for peace, which will feature the choral ensemble Voices for Peace and many well-known musicians and song writers. The collection will include music and/or performances by David Alpher & Jennie Litt, Ras T. Asheber, Peggy Atwood, Karen Beth, Kurt Henry, the Hudson Valley Youth Chorale, Julie Kirby & T.G. Vanini with the Princes of Serendip, Redwood Moose, Tom Pacheco, Leslie Ritter and Scott Petito, Peter Schickele, the Christine Spero Group, Jon Stein, the Vanaver Caravan, Shirley Warren, Danielle Woerner, Dennis Yerry and others.

  • "Essential Vocals"
Learn relaxation and awareness techniques, basic vocal warm-ups, and exercises that will help you analyze and address your vocal issues, and contact your own essential, innately beautiful sound. Created by Danielle Woerner.

  • "Songs of the Spirit"
A guided meditation/visualization/relaxation tape, with suggestions spoken in the soothing voice of Danielle Woerner over a shimmering vocal music background.

  • "Singing Journeys"
A different sort of background tape for shamanic journey work. Instead of drums, rattles or click sticks, your journey will be guided by vocal sounds.
